‘WHATEVER HAPPENED TO WEST AYRSHIRE?’

On the 7th of August, the Gallery 37 programme held its showcase at the Magnum Centre in Irvine. A group of young people put their 4 weeks training in animation, performance and music to spectacular use, devising and performing a multi-media piece called ‘Whatever Happened to West Ayrshire?’. The audience were drawn into a weird and wonderful world in an immersive performance that highlighted how far the young people had come, most of whom had no previous experience of creative activities.
